Severe T-Storm Watch LIKELY North of STC Shortly

UPDATE: Watch was issued around 9 PM, includes areas north and west of Alexandria.

PREVIOUS POST: The Storm Prediction Center has just issued a Mesoscale Discussion for areas north of the St. Cloud area, saying they expect a Severe Thunderstorm Watch to be issued within the next hour or so. Storms over South Dakota are gradually expanding and growing into North Dakota. These storms will continue to grow and expand in front of the warm front, stretching into parts of central and northwestern Minnesota. The main threats will be large hail and damaging winds with these storms. Will alert if a watch is issued, but currently it does not look like it would be for the STC area.
